Yarmouth is one of Cape Cod’s oldest communities, dating back to 1639. Located in the heart of the Cape, it is made up of the villages of West Yarmouth, South Yarmouth, and Yarmouth Port.

Yarmouth Port, located along Route 6A, is known for its historic homes, local museums, and well-preserved New England character. The town’s history is closely tied to Cape Cod’s maritime heritage and early colonial settlement.

South Yarmouth is the largest village and serves as the town’s civic center.

West Yarmouth is the main area for tourism, with beach resorts, family attractions, and seasonal summer activities.
