Yarmouth is one of the oldest towns on Cape Cod. It was first settled in 1639 and is located near the middle of the Cape.

The town is made up of three villages: West Yarmouth, South Yarmouth, and Yarmouth Port.

Yarmouth Port is known for its historic homes, local museums, and classic New England feel. South Yarmouth is the largest village and is where many town offices are located. West Yarmouth is a popular spot for visitors, with beach resorts, family-friendly attractions, and fun summer activities.
