If you’re visiting Cape Cod and staying in Mashpee, Falmouth, or Barnstable, you’ll probably want to check out the Mashpee Commons, a beautiful outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment plaza. Complete with mini golf (seasonal), paint-your-own pottery, bowling, and more, Mashpee Commons has so much to offer whether you are vacationing with your family, that special someone, or with friends.
Though the Commons is not officially the center of town, it is the hub of activity in Mashpee. So, if you are looking for where to dine, you’ll likely find yourself heading over to Market Street. Make reservations in advance, or drop in after doing some shopping! The Mashpee Commons has a great variety of options, however, we’d encourage you to check out some of our personal favorites first.
Bleu
10 Market Street, Mashpee, MA 02649
Situated just across the street from L.L. Bean is Bleu, a restaurant that prides itself on transporting you to France while you dine. Complete with a curated wine list, Bleu is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sundays for brunch. Trevi Wine Bar
25 Market Street, Mashpee, MA 02649
This restaurant is easy to miss in its tucked-in location next door to The Market Street Bookshop. Open for lunch and dinner, Trevi is a must-try. While dinner serves up delicious Italian and seafood dishes, lunch is perhaps the best bang for your buck. Order artisan sandwiches, complete with homemade french fries ranging in price from $14-$16, and don’t forget to ask your server about the wine pairings. Self-described as a modern Greek restaurant, and the first upscale Greek restaurant on Cape Cod, Estia serves up delicious food and cocktails. If sitting down feels like too much of a formal affair, cozy up to the beautifully designed bar where there’s plenty of space to eat. Indulge yourself in the creative main entrees, or order a coal-fired pizza and some appetizers. Bonus: if you’re a fan of The Phantom Gourmet, Estia has been featured twice, the latest being in December of 2022.
Siena
17 Steeple Street, Mashpee, MA 02649
You can never go wrong with Italian, especially on those nights when the chill starts to creep into the air. Located right next door to the Regal Cinemas is Siena. In the summer they have a beautiful patio open for outdoor seating and on the interior, you’ll find a comfortable yet elegant atmosphere. Fare ranges from all the parmigiana favorites to brick oven pizza, all reasonably priced. Dinner and a movie couldn’t be any easier.
Cape Cod Coffee
53 Market Street, Mashpee, MA 02649
Don’t let the name fool you, Cape Cod Coffee is about so much more than coffee, though the coffee is fantastic. With three locations, this family-owned business is intent on sourcing quality and local ingredients. Pop in for breakfast or lunch as their hours run from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily, and enjoy the avocado toast or a specialty omelet. If you are in a rush, this location also has a cafe where you can order coffee and pastries to-go.
53 Chophouse
53 Market Street, Mashpee, MA 02649
